Storm Damage Repair in Artesia

After a hard wind or a long night of rain, you want to know what happened up there. We walk your roof, photograph every damaged spot, explain what it means for your home, and then repair it properly so the next storm finds nothing loose.

What Storm Damage Repair Covers

Storm damage is rarely one big hole. More often it's a row of shingles with broken seals, a few clay tiles knocked out of line, a ridge cap that lifted, or flashing pulled back from a wall. Each of these lets water in slowly, and you may not see a stain inside for weeks.

Our job is to find all of it, not just the piece you noticed from the driveway. We photograph what we find before we touch anything, so you see the same thing we see. Then we repair the damaged areas with matching materials and show you the finished work too.

Strong winter rain and dry Santa Ana winds are the usual culprits here, and both are hard on older tile and shingle roofs. If the damage turns out to be widespread, we'll say so plainly and talk through roof replacement as an option, not a push.

What's Included in Our Storm Repairs

A full roof walk, every slope
We check every slope, not only the side that faced the wind. You see each damaged area with a plain explanation of what caused it.
Shingle and tile replacement
Creased, torn or missing shingles are replaced and sealed down. Cracked or slipped tiles are reset or swapped, and we check the underlayment beneath them while they're off.
Flashing and ridge repair
Wind loves edges. We refasten or replace flashing at walls, chimneys and vents, and reset ridge and hip caps that lifted.
Decking checks where water got in
If water reached the wood, we look at the decking and replace soft sections rather than covering them up.
Gutter and debris cleanup
Storms fill gutters with granules, leaves and broken pieces. We clear them and note any gutter damage, which our gutters service can handle.
Help with your insurance claim
We work directly with your insurance claim. Our dated pictures and written notes give your adjuster a clear record, while the coverage decision stays between you and your insurer.

Signs a Storm Damaged Your Roof

  • Shingle pieces in the yard

Finding shingle tabs, granules or tile fragments on the ground means something came loose up top.

  • Lifted or flapping edges

From the street, look for shingles that sit higher than their neighbors or edges that move in a breeze. A broken seal won't fix itself.

  • Tiles out of line

Clay and concrete tiles that look shifted, cracked or gapped can expose the underlayment to sun and rain.

  • New stains or drips inside

A ceiling spot after a rainy week usually points to a damaged area above. Our roof leak repair work traces where the water actually enters.

  • Bent vents or loose flashing

Dented vent caps or metal pulled away from a wall are easy to miss and quick to leak.

How a Storm Repair Visit Goes

When the repairs wrap up, we haul off torn materials, sweep stray nails from the lawn and driveway, and share pictures of the finished roof with you.

What Shapes the Cost of Storm Repairs

Every storm repair is priced from what we actually find on your roof. That's why the inspection comes first and the number comes second. Financing is available through Service Finance Company, subject to credit approval.

How much area was hit
A handful of loose shingles can be handled in a few hours. When several slopes took a beating, the material list and the labor grow with it.
Roof material
Tile repairs often mean lifting surrounding tiles carefully and matching profiles and colors. Shingles are usually quicker to replace.
Damage below the surface
Wet underlayment or soft decking adds to the work. We show you what we found before replacing anything hidden.
How easy the roof is to reach
A low, single-story roof is quick to set up on. A two-story house or a steep pitch calls for extra fall protection and ladder work, and a narrow path beside the house can slow how materials get up and down.

Questions Homeowners Ask After a Storm

Something not covered here? (562) 600-9619

Do I need to contact my insurer before you come out?

No. Plenty of homeowners have us inspect first so they know whether there is real damage before opening a claim. Our inspection is free, so finding out costs you nothing. If you do file, we work directly with your claim and share our records with your adjuster.

Can you just patch the damaged spots?

Usually, yes. Most storm damage is localized, and a proper repair with matching materials is the right answer. If the roof is old and damage is spread across it, we'll show you why a repair may not hold and let you decide.

Will repaired tiles or shingles match the rest of my roof?

We match type, profile and color as closely as current products allow. Older tile can be hard to match exactly, so we'll show you samples or salvage options before we start.

What if more rain is on the way before the repair?

Let us know on the call. We plan the repair around the forecast, and if an area is open to the weather we can cover it with a tarp until repair day. That keeps water out of your home while the materials come together.

Do you handle hail damage too?

Yes. Hail is less common here than wind and rain, but it does happen, and our hail damage repair page explains how we check for bruised shingles and cracked tile.
