Roofing Services for Your Home
Most calls we get start with a stain on the ceiling or a few tiles that slid out of place. We do roof repair, roof leak repair and full roof replacement on tile, asphalt shingle and flat roofs, plus gutters and storm damage repair after a rough winter. Roof inspections are a good place to start if you are buying, selling or just unsure what shape your roof is in. We also take on commercial roofing for small buildings.

Roof Replacement
We strip the old roof to the wood, fix the deck and install a new shingle or tile roof, showing you each stage in pictures along the way.
Roof Repair
Cracked shingles, slipped tiles, lifted flashing and worn vent boots fixed properly, with before and after pictures so you can see the work yourself.
Roof Inspections
A free, careful look at your roof from ridge to gutter, with pictures of what we find and an honest read on what needs attention.
Storm Damage Repair
Wind-lifted shingles, cracked tile and torn flashing found, documented and repaired, with help sorting out your insurance claim.
Gutters
New gutters formed to fit, re-sloped runs, and downspout and fascia repair, with before and after pictures of the work.
Roof Leak Repair
We follow the water from your ceiling stain back to the spot where it gets in, show you what we found and repair the cause.
Urgent Roof Repair
When a branch, wind gust or heavy rain opens up your roof, we protect your home first, then make a lasting repair you can see for yourself.
Hail Damage Repair
We find hail hits on shingles, tile and metal, document each one, and repair your roof with a clear written scope you can share with your insurer.
Tile Roofing
Broken tile replaced, worn underlayment renewed and new clay or concrete tile roofs installed, with a clear record of what we found and fixed.
Asphalt Shingle Roofing
New asphalt shingle roofs and shingle repairs, with the deck, flashing and underlayment shown to you before they disappear under the new roof.
Commercial Roofing
Repairs and replacement for low-slope business roofs, with pictures of each finding so owners and managers can see the condition for themselves.
Flat Roofing
Repair and replacement for low-slope roofs on houses, additions, garages and patio covers, starting with a close look at the seams, drains and decking.
What Goes Into Your Roof Price
Neighbors on the same street can pay very different amounts for a roof. The difference comes down to a handful of things we measure and photograph on our first visit, and each one is easy to understand once you see it.
Every estimate is free, itemized line by line and paired with matching photos. If the old roof comes off and reveals something we didn't expect, we pause, show it to you and talk it over before doing any added work.
- Roof area and slope
- The square footage decides how much material goes on. Steep slopes and roofs with lots of hips and valleys need more labor and more safety setup.
- Type of roofing
- Clay tile, concrete tile, asphalt shingle and flat systems each carry a different price. On tile roofs we can often keep the good tiles and replace only the underlayment beneath, which shifts the cost quite a bit.
- The wood underneath
- Plenty of older local homes still have their first plywood or plank decking. Rotted or delaminated sections are replaced before the new roof goes on, and we photograph each one for you.
- Extra layers to remove
- Years ago, some homes got new shingles nailed straight over the old ones. If we find two layers, both come off to the deck, which means more labor and higher dump fees.
- Flashing and roof details
- Each chimney, skylight, wall joint and patio cover needs careful flashing. The more of them your roof has, the more detail work it takes.
- Permits and code requirements
- A reroof typically needs a city permit and inspection, and some roof types fall under California energy rules. Those steps are built into your estimate so they don't surprise you later.
Cities We Serve
We're based in Artesia, and our crews work on homes in the surrounding cities every week. That includes Cerritos, Norwalk, Bellflower, Lakewood, Downey and Paramount, along with South Whittier, La Mirada, Buena Park and Cypress.

What Sets Our Roof Work Apart
You can't tell much about a roof from the street, and few homeowners ever go up there. So we photograph it for you and explain what every picture means.
- The same view we have
- Each inspection includes close photos of every trouble spot. When we tell you a flashing seam has separated, the picture shows the gap. When the decking is sound, the picture shows that as well.
- Repairs when they will last
- Many roofs only need a few hundred square feet fixed, not a full new roof. We explain which your roof needs, give you the reason and back it up with photos.
- Proof of what got covered up
- On bigger jobs we photograph the bare decking after tear-off, the underlayment and flashing before they disappear, and the completed roof. You'll never see those layers again, so you get pictures of them to keep.
- Support with your claim
- We work directly with your insurance claim: we record the damage, meet your adjuster if you'd like and walk you through the forms. Coverage stays the adjuster's decision, but you won't handle it by yourself.
- Spanish or English
- Se habla español. Ask questions and review your estimate in the language that feels easiest to you.
How a Roof Job Runs
Here is what happens between your first call and the day the last bit of debris leaves your driveway.
- 1
Your call and our visit
Let us know what you're seeing, and we'll pick a time to stop by. There's no charge for the inspection.
- 2
Photos and your written estimate
We check each slope, look in the attic when we can get to it, and photograph anything important. Then we review the pictures and the written estimate with you, in person or over the phone.
- 3
Permit and work date
After you approve the job, we get a permit if the work calls for one and choose a start date that suits you. We'll also tell you what to clear away from the walls and driveway.
- 4
Doing the work
Plants get covered and the yard gets protected before we start. We photograph the decking and underlayment before they're closed up, so you know exactly what's in your roof.
- 5
Cleanup and sign-off
A magnet sweep picks up stray nails, the old roofing gets hauled away and we walk the new roof with you. Where it's required, the city inspector then signs off.

A Local Roofer That Shows You the Proof
Years on the job taught our owner one thing: homeowners trust advice more when they can see what it's based on. So we photograph everything worth talking about and give you those pictures along with your estimate.
A roof costs real money, and the need for one rarely shows up at a good time. We offer financing through Service Finance Company, subject to credit approval, so necessary repairs or a replacement can move forward. What Artesia Homeowners Want to Know
- Do I really pay nothing for the estimate?
- You pay nothing for the inspection or the written estimate, and you don't have to hire us afterward. The pictures are yours to keep, so you can hold them up against other bids or just learn more about your roof.
- Will a repair do, or does my roof need replacing?
- It depends on how widespread the damage is and how the underlayment and decking are holding up. A few broken tiles or a single bad flashing joint can usually be repaired. If the underlayment has gone brittle across most of the roof, a repair rarely lasts more than a season or two. You'll see our photos and get our honest opinion on which path makes sense.
- Can you help me with an insurance claim?
- Yes, we work directly with your insurance claim. We photograph the damage, write out the repair scope and can be on site when the adjuster comes. Coverage is your insurer's call, but we make sure the damage is easy to see.
- Does a new roof come with a warranty?
- Qualifying roofs can carry a GAF System Plus manufacturer limited warranty. When we prepare your estimate, we'll let you know if your job qualifies and what it requires.
- How many days does a new roof take?
- Most single-family homes take several workdays. The final count depends on roof size, the material and how much decking needs replacing once the old roof is off. Tile takes longer than asphalt shingle. Your estimate includes a written timeline, and we'll call if rain moves a day.
- Can I finance my roof?
- Yes. We offer financing through Service Finance Company, subject to credit approval, and we'll explain the details when we review your estimate.
- Is there someone who speaks Spanish?
- Yes, se habla español. From the first phone call to the final walk-through, you can work with us in English or Spanish.
